We are a free site and we rate our site as a general audience site. Upon registration we will record your IP address and all posts will have to be approved by our team of moderators. Please keep all postings within our guidelines. Posting of any obscene or profane material will not be approved and you user ID and your computers IP address will be blocked by our administration team. Keep it clean this site is for the benefit of our local community and we will aggressively enforce a strict review of all postings that are submitted to us. whatsonedmonton.com reserves the right to deny any posting it chooses to deem unfit, or not of the correct categorized nature, Our decision is final and you abide by these terms in signing up for the site. - I have just submitted my post and I do not see it? All posting is first e mailed to our team of moderators that will review your post prior to making your post live on our site and for everyone to see. We take these measures to ensure our site best serves the local community and is not getting spammed or posted with anything that violates our policies. - I posted pictures with my post and I do not see them why? Some pictures may take a little longer than the text within your post to appear on our servers, if your picture does not appear within 12 hours of your post being live please e mail our moderating team and they will gladly assist you in finding out what’s wrong and making it right for you. - My event is tomorrow and I need my post up now what can I do? If you have an event that you want to get fast tracked please click here and e mail our team we will do our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee this but will do our best for you Click here to e mail a moderator
- Why do I have to sign up to make a post or submit an article? What’s on Edmonton is a free self service website and in order for us to keep it this way we have to offer all users and our paid advertisers the confidence of clean content, for this reason you are asked to sign in and create your account prior to posting
- Do you charge for posting events and articles? No they are all free, If we feel your event is just regular spam type advertising we will contact you and put you in touch with one of our advertising executives who can give you our pricing structure for paid advertising.
- Can I post an event that is not in the Edmonton area? The answer is NO sorry, What’s on Canada will be starting many more regional sites and will have one in that area very shortly.
- I did not receive a confirmation e mail that you received my post what now? Please contact our team here they will be more than pleased to look into this and rectify the situation for you free of charge. Click here to e mail a moderator
- My post was denied by a moderator what should I do now? If you believe your posting, pictures video or article was incorrectly flagged and denied click here please Click here to e mail a moderator
- What if I want to change my post after it has been approved? Just log into your account from where you will be able to change and edit your posting after the fact, please note this edit will be resent for moderation first.
- What types of files can I upload? What’s on Edmonton allows the upload of most files, please see the posting page for all file types. If you have any troubles uploading files please contact a moderator and they will allow you to e mail the file directly to then and they can add it to your post for no charge.
